Wat Koh Lak Phra Aram Luang (วัดเกาะหลักพระอารามหลวง)

Wat Koh Lak Phra Aram Luang, or Wat Koh Lak for short, is an old and important temple in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan District, believed to have been founded around B.E. 2300 (about 1757 CE). It was later granted third-class royal temple status in 1972. The temple has long served as an important ceremonial site in the province. Inside the temple grounds is the shrine of Luang Pho Phiam, a highly respected former abbot of Wat Ko Lak and former provincial ecclesiastical leader, where visitors come to pay their respects.
วัดเกาะหลักพระอารามหลวง เป็นวัดเก่าแก่และสำคัญคู่เมืองประจวบคีรีขันธ์ สันนิษฐานว่าสร้างขึ้นราวปี พ.ศ. 2300 และได้รับการยกฐานะเป็นพระอารามหลวงชั้นตรี ชนิดสามัญ เมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2515 วัดแห่งนี้เป็นสถานที่ประกอบพิธีสำคัญของทางราชการสืบเนื่องมาเป็นเวลายาวนาน ภายในวัดมีวิหารหลวงพ่อเปี่ยม พระเกจิอาจารย์ชื่อดัง อดีตเจ้าอาวาสวัดเกาะหลักและอดีตเจ้าคณะจังหวัด ให้ประชาชนและนักท่องเที่ยวเข้าไปกราบสักการะ
