BANG SAPHAN DISTRICT: A Prachuap Khiri Khan transport company’s operations and best practices were recently on display for a site visit tour by local government officials.
On June 6, 2024, Mr. Udom Sodsai (นายอุดม สดใส), Managing Director of Line Transport Company Limited (บริษัท ไลน์ ทรานสปอร์ต จำกัด), a part of SVL Group’s (เอสวีแอล กรุ๊ป) land transport business, welcomed Mr. Suthin Prasertsak (นายสุทิน ประเสริฐศักดิ์), District Officer of Bang Saphan (นายอำเภอบางสะพาน), along with the team from Thong Chai Police Station (สถานีตำรวจภูธรธงชัย) and the head of the Prachuap Khiri Khan Provincial Transport Office, Bang Saphan branch (สำนักงานขนส่งจังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ สาขาอำเภอบางสะพาน). The visit was to observe the operations at the “Operation Control Centre (OCC)” (ศูนย์ปฏิบัติการควบคุมขนส่งสินค้า), which monitors the status of transport vehicles.
Located at Prachuap Port Building (อาคารท่าเรือประจวบ) in Bang Saphan District, the OCC manages and monitors transport vehicles via 15 CCTV points across Bang Saphan. This real-time, 24-hour system oversees routes from the company’s front gate to the Phetkasem Road junction, ensuring the safety and efficiency of goods transportation. It includes GPS tracking for all vehicles, providing status updates and problem-solving support for drivers nationwide.
The OCC promotes safe road transport practices, contributing valuable information to local law enforcement in Bang Saphan for case resolution and emergency response. The initiative demonstrates SVL Group’s commitment to enhancing community safety and supporting regional development.
Line Transport Company Limited (บริษัท ไลน์ ทรานสปอร์ต จำกัด) is a private sector entity and a part of the SVL Group (เอสวีแอล กรุ๊ป), which is known for its logistics and transport services.
