JUNE 2024: Childless members of the Prachuap Khiri Khan Teachers’ Savings Cooperative (สหกรณ์ออมทรัพย์ครูประจวบคีรีขันธ์ จำกัด) over the age of 50 have until the end of the month to apply for special welfare benefits.
The deadline was noted in an announcement by the cooperative outlining the benefits for its childless members for the year 2024, under regulations established in 2013. Members who meet the following criteria are eligible to receive the benefits:
- Must be a childless member of the cooperative.
- Must be at least 50 years old.
- Must have been a member of the cooperative for at least 20 years.
- Members who have previously received this benefit are not eligible to apply again (it is a one-time benefit).
Eligible members will receive a welfare payment of 1,000 baht. The submission period for documents to apply for the childless member welfare benefit is open from now until September 30, 2024. Members can submit their documents directly at the cooperative office or through the district committee member.
Once the documents are reviewed and approved, the cooperative will announce the list of members eligible for the 2024 welfare benefit. The welfare payments will be transferred to the members’ cooperative account, marked by a pink cover (known as the “birthday book”).
